Humble Choice Members Can Check Out Ghost Song Day One

Ghost Song is the first game from Old Moon, and the developers promise a challenge for anyone brave enough to try it out. Players take control of an awakened Deadsuit on the desolate moon of Lorian and must search for answers about what has happened. They must embark across the moon and explore its deep underbelly as they face off against challenge after challenge. Players will be forced to combat a variety of enemies and interact with all sorts of characters as they try to uncover the world’s secrets.

Ghost Song’s main focus is on battling enemies and exploring this 2D world. Players will acquire all sorts of potent weapons and game-changing abilities that they can use to decimate their opponents and break through to new areas. As they fight more of the planet’s horrors, the player will become more powerful and be given all sorts of modules to customize their loadout. As with most Metroidvanias, players will also die a lot, but that is only a momentary setback on their journey to uncover the secrets of Lorian.

The early buzz around Ghost Song is pretty strong, and the developers’ Steam Next Fest demo showed players just how creepy the game can be. It promises to excite players with stories of survival, courage, abandonment, and redemption as they shoot their way through horror after horror. Fans of Metroidvanias will most likely want to keep an eye on this one as the release date nears, and they will not have long to wait as it is set to launch November 3. Humble Choice and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to check it out day one, and it could be a great way to kick off the new month.
