At the time of writing, the Humble Bundle “Stand with Ukraine” gaming bundle has raised almost $7.6 million US, and by the time this article goes live, that number could well be close to $8 million. This is a huge figure for charity, especially given that it only went live a couple of days ago. Anyone who is interested in getting access to more than 120 “pieces of content,” which includes games and software, still has five days to take part. Minimum donations are $40 with 100% of the money going towards Ukraine.

With the deal featuring around $2,500 worth of titles, the Humble Bundle offer contains such games as Back 4 Blood, Metro Exodus, Sunset Overdrive, Max Payne 3, and Quantum Break. There are also a number of comics and graphic novels, as well as game development kits, such as RPG Maker, and some tutorials on using the Unity engine.

This is also not the first bundle that’s been happening to help raise money for a good cause. Although finished now, the recent Itch.io Ukraine bundle raised more than $6 million US, and contained such titles as Superhot, Celeste, and A Short Hike. Although the minimum donation for the Itch deal was $10, though more was encouraged, the fact that it raised millions is a phenomenal result, showing that there are many in the gaming community that are eager to help the victims of the ongoing conflict.

With the Russian invasion of Ukraine beginning at the end of February, it has created untold misery for the country. While it’s grim news all round, some may find comfort in the fact that there are so many people donating to help those affected by it. The Humble Bundle is an excellent way for gamers to do some good, and no doubt the deal will raise even more millions before it ends.
