Hogan, who has been on the outs with the WWE since the racism scandal that broke out earlier this year, is not particularly known to be effusive in his praise for the WWE stars of the present generation. Thought to be an ‘old-timer’ thing to do, many veterans aren’t very forthcoming with their praise when describing the present generation of WWE stars.
It is for that very reason that his praise of Del Rio really stands out amid the attention that the current product gets. The current United States champion, Del Rio recently returned following his WWE departure last year, and was involved in a US title match in the main event on RAW against John Cena.
